Theres this kid who's family was incredibly rich after years and years of engaging in criminal activities. His father suddenly disappears and his mother gets withdrawal symptoms and goes crazy and stays locked in her room, leaving Artemis to himself to do whatever the fuck he wants. He decides to rebuild his family's fortune by staling fairy gold from fairies. Fairies who have their own freaking police force and get seriously pissed. That's all I can tell you without revealing too much of the plot. The books are actually really pretty good.

| Pendragon (series) D.J. Machale Fantasy/Adventure
Totally awesome series... I don't think they have it at the library though. The entire thing is like watching a TV show with a long, drawn out and convoluted plot. So many plot twists you wouldn't believe.
